Our theme of ‘Energizing the Aspiring’ refers to the system of getting a group of people to work together effectively as a positive team. The idea behind ‘Energizing the Aspiring’ is that the group of people who are motivated and energized can achieve much more than what they thought they could achieve. This is determined by a number of factors, such as:
The Right Mix of Skills – Success depends in part on bringing together people who have different skills and backgrounds that somehow complement each other. This can mean different technical abilities or communication skills. Contributions, successful brainstorming tasks, and teamwork are a few of the skills much needed in being and staying energized.
The Right Motivation – This is directly linked to the interests/objectives within the group. If the task is too easy or too difficult, or if the rewards for achieving the end result do not seem worth the effort, the team may end up working half-heartedly. ‘Energizing the Aspiring’ creates a clear desirable outcome, working towards a specific goal to enhance team effectiveness significantly.
The Ability to Solve Conflicts Without Compromising The Quality – A major downfall would sometimes see groups end up making ‘not of the best’ decisions, just so they can keep the process moving. Conflict is innate to any work in groups, and should be taken as part of the challenge rather than as something to be avoided by compromising. Team effectiveness should be increased, not compromised, through conflict.
This much sought-after team-building program is essentially participative. It is fun, exciting, and specifically designed for working executives, with group projects, interactions, open discussions, team exercises/activities, and much more hence allowing the participants to gain the most over the sessions and are in line with the accordance and standards of experiential education.
